Find your neighborhood in Portugal.
Portugal Home gives you real, verified data on neighborhoods, towns and villages across the country — sourced and dated, not guessed — so you can choose where to live with confidence instead of a forum thread and a hunch.
Coming soon to iPhone through the App Store, then Windows through the Microsoft Store, then Android. Beta testing on iPhone has started.
Built on sourced data, not guesswork
Every neighborhood profile in Portugal Home traces back to a named source and a checked date — never a number that sounds right.
Every number has a source
Rent, population, and the share of residents who are foreign nationals each carry where they came from and when they were last checked — not a guess dressed up as a statistic.
The figures that decide a move
Population, foreign residents, tourist activity, average pay, rent and purchase prices, and climate, for all 308 municípios. Real numbers from named sources, not a forum thread's opinion.
Compare before you commit
Weigh up to three places side by side — cost, transport access, and how many residents were born abroad.
Everything you need to pick with confidence
Verified figures on population, pay, housing costs, climate and what's nearby, with side-by-side comparison — nothing here is illustrative or estimated.
Verified place profiles
Cost, transport access, how many residents are foreign nationals with resident status, and how touristy the area is, all dated and sourced.
A questionnaire that ranks all 308
Sixteen questions, rent and buying first. Say how close the sea, a hospital or an airport should be, or pick the middle: some foreign residents but not most, lively but not crowded. The sea is measured to the nearest monitored beach, not to estuary shoreline.
What's nearby
Health care, pharmacies, groceries, parks, public services and stations by name and distance, plus international schools, castles, UNESCO World Heritage sites, monitored beaches, and the distance to the nearest hospital and international airport.
Side-by-side comparison
Compare up to three places at once across the metrics that actually matter for a move.
Save your shortlist
Bookmark places as you narrow it down, right there on your device.
Every number dated
Each data point carries the date it was last checked, so you know how current it is.
Works on a plane
No account, no ads, no tracking. Every place ships inside the app, so hotel wifi or no wifi makes no difference to what you can read — not once, not ever. A few seconds of connection is all it takes to pick up newer figures, and they land the next time you open it, never while you are reading.
What it looks like
Taken on an iPhone, with real data — every figure on these screens is the one the app ships with.

Coming to the App StoreFAQ
Do I need an account?
No. Portugal Home has no sign-up, no login, and no account of any kind. Your saved places and purchase status live only on your device.
Does the app track me?
No. There's no analytics, no telemetry, no ad identifiers and no account. The app makes exactly one network request — it downloads its own content file so rents and population figures don't go stale between updates — and that request sends nothing about you in either direction. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
Is there a subscription?
No, never. Free lets you see the format with one place of each kind, every município and your top questionnaire match — and you can save and compare any of those. Full Access is a single one-time payment of €9.99 that unlocks the entire dataset.
Where do the numbers come from?
Public sources, principally Portugal's Instituto Nacional de Estatística, researched by hand. Every figure carries its source and the date it was last checked — a number with no traceable source doesn't ship.
What if I don't like it — can I get a refund?
Refunds go through the App Store, not us — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com or from your purchase history in Settings, and Apple decides.
How do I get it?
Portugal Home is coming to iPhone first through the App Store, then Windows through the Microsoft Store, then Android. It's part of the six-app Portugal Vivo suite for expats moving to Portugal.
